The Nineteenth International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML-2002) announces its student scholarship program. Ph.D. students will be provided scholarships to subsidise travel, conference, and housing expenses for ICML-2002.
Priority will be given to students who have papers accepted in the conference or workshops. However, students without an accepted paper will also be considered. To apply, students should submit a one-page abstract of their research, along with the information listed below.
Students wishing to receive a conference travel scholarship are asked to send in an application with a one-page summary of their research, a vita and a letter of support from their thesis advisor also stating their student status. The application should also include a cover sheet giving the following information:
